I am sorry to read of your father’s passing but can understand what a mixed bag of emotions you are feeling having trodden a very similar path. I don’t think you need beat yourself up about Dad not being at home. He would understand that you did what had to be done given the circumstances. You do him proud and look after or sell the house he cherished and worked all his life for. I’m so glad to hear the system didn’t beat you. My sincere condolences.
