Anyone heard of Stoppin Social Services, Facebook; Stopping Social Service?
Whilst enquiring through research on Twitter I came across them. I have just had a response that they are interested in my Mum’s case, which I was stunned about as other legal entities have rejected my pleas for help as of time-frame lapses.
Never heard of them and would be very suspicious of them.

I’d never heard of them, but a little checking didn’t make me interested in using them.
It would be really helpful if CUK worked with a specialist solicitor who were interested in carers.
I went round various advice centres and Lawstop was recommended to me. Complete waste of time and money, because they promised much but didn’t do anything, didn’t even tell me when the solicitor had gone on long term sick, took over 2 months to acknowledge a considerable payment, and would only start when it had been. Finally, the last solicitor promised she’d write to SSD but didn’t nothing for a further two months!! Then wanted to charge me for investigating their incompetence!
They seem to be a mckenzie friend working with a law firm on cases where social services have played games (according to their Facebook page, mainly in child care cases agains social services), cut corners etc, basically gone above and beyond avoiding the law. Their Facebook page reads;

I totally agree, as I’m at a loss at to what CUK stand for. If they were really wanting to support unpaid family carers with their resources they could actually make a proper difference that would count, but no they water down whatever they decide fits in with their remit than alieviate the lives of those downtrodden by the unscruplulous.
Anyone can put anything on their Facebook page. Have you researched M & R AT LAW and what does M & R POLICE CONSTABULARY mean? I would be very wary.

I took a look at “M & R SPECIALIST BUSINESS GROUP SOLUTIONS LTD” at Companies House. They started out as a recruitment agency in 2016, then switched to other things in 2018. Those other things being:
69109 - Activities of patent and copyright agents; other legal activities not elsewhere classified
70229 - Management consultancy activities other than financial management
80300 - Investigation activities
96090 - Other service activities not elsewhere classified
Only three people have ever had involvement with the company, the current sole director having left and returned. He’s listed at Companies House as a lawyer (suggesting that he’s qualified), but on LinkedIn as a “Senior Paralegal” - which is unqualified. And as the only person listed that raises many more questions. According to his LinkedIn profile, he does tender writing and supporting contracts for construction and cleaning - bearing in mind for a moment that this is the profile he’s written.
Draw your own conclusions, but I wouldn’t go near them.
Very interesting. I have challenge them on what you’ve stated and further asked them for assistance with my housing situation, where I am having to put in another Complaint as they’ve failed in their duty to support me as a vulnerable person. Thank you.

No worries. I’ve tried finding reviews, only one I came across was a 1 star from an ex-employee who’d still not been paid.
On first glance at their FB page I would avoid them like the plague - it looks very unprofessional in my opinion. M & R Constabulary are not a police force in the traditional sense. They are actually a team of private investigators trading as a private police force so without the same rights & responsibilities as a publicly funded law enforcement agency. I have no idea how qualified any of them are as ‘investigators’ but it looks like they have the same capabilities as a good journalist. I never knew such things as private police forces existed until now though so I’ve learned something today!
I have been emailing Stopping Social Services asking for reviews, which they are very evasive about, and even passed me on to their admin who are very insultive. Why they claim to know how social services operate and that they know how to deal with is totally out of order.
It’s a shame that I have tried non-stop since 2012 to find the right help to deal with all professionals that are more than interested being morally bankrupt bureaucrats, and where the Care Agency are still causing problems more focused running rings round me. The latest being that my Mum has been very chesty, the Carers proving less that professional that the Care Manager insist they are.
I’m exhausted feeling guilty for not being professional or perfect to deal with such low-lives.
Wow, Butterfly68 - the more I hear about this place, the worse I like them. They sound seriously unprofessional, and that is the least I can say.
