I’m looking for advice on finding counselling for my dad’s partner / carer. She’s finding things very rough and I wondered if there are charities or organisations that might offer counselling specifically for people caring for the terminally ill?

Are they bring supported by a hospice? If so, hospices usually provide counselling.

Have they asked Social Services for a Needs Assessment and Carers Assessment?
Claimed Attendance Allowance? Aware of Continuing Healthcare?
Air mattress and hospital bed, bathing aids etc.?
How ill is the patient?
