Hi peeps. I’m new to posting but come regularly to read.

Now I’ve got a question so… Here goes.

I’m currently on legacy income support and carers allowance. I was asked if I wanted to do a little work at a university. Flexible hours and times. Transport allowance.

I’ve been on turn2us and entitled to… Both state that I work only get to keep £20 no matter how many hour or money paid.

I think it’s the income support that’s deducting almost all of the money.

Can anyone confirm this please? £20 seems to make this not worth working. While other information says about earns of below £128/w is ignored. Is this for people on ESA?
