Chris Froome's bike auctioned to help carers

16 June 2014

We would like to say a huge thank you to Jackie Fraser, who is auctioning a piece of sporting history to help raise vital funds for Carers UK.

Chris Froome bikeJackie won Chris Froome’s Tour De France 2012 bike – the iconic bike he rode when he assisted Sir Bradley Wiggins to his famous victory – in a Cycling Weekly competition. However, when it turned out to be too big for her to ride, Jackie generously decided to auction the bike on ebay and split the proceeds between four different charities, including Carers UK.

Do you know a cycling enthuasiast who fancies owning this one-off piece of cycling memorabilia? Head over to ebay to have a look or place your bid – the auction is open until Sunday 22 June.
