Leave a legacy
Over 55 years ago we started a movement to support unpaid carers and their rights. With a gift in your Will we can continue to affect change long into the future.
If you have already decided to make or update your Will to include a gift to Carers UK, thank you! With your help, we can be there for the 6,000 people who become a carer every day.
Caring will affect all of us at some point in our lives, that’s why including a gift in your Will to Carers UK is so important. Your gift will help us to be there to make caring less overwhelming for generations of carers to come. Gifts in Wills enable us to keep working towards a society in which carers are respected, valued and supported.
Helen Brown, Carers UK Trustee and legacy pledger, says:
“I know from personal experience how difficult life can be – juggling work, family life with children and caring for my dying mum who lived hundreds of miles away. The effect on me was profound and changed my life, yet I hadn’t recognised myself as a carer then.”

Free Will service
We are offering a free ‘simple’ Will writing service to supporters aged 55 and over using the services of local solicitors across the UK. The National Free Wills Network will enable individuals and couples who support us to have their Will(s) written free of charge using the services of firms of solicitors within reasonable travelling distance of their homes. This offer is open for a limited period and applies to the writing of ‘simple’ Wills, in other words, Wills that do not have to deal with complex issues. We hope that you will take this opportunity to make provision for loved ones, and also consider including a gift to support our work for generations to come – although there is no obligation to do so.
